Just preparing for their U2 US support slots, Black Eyed Peas make it a straight sixteen weeks at the top in the USA with eleven for 'Boom Boom Pow' plus another five for 'I Gotta Feeling' and now they've replicated that brace of number ones here.
New entries from 'Captain Jack' John Barrowman ( Barrowman's got big lungs but next to Barry Manilows' original, very poor), Flo Rida & Nelly Furtado, Little Boots and Sub Focus.
Interesting that it's taken 26 weeks but King Of Leon have finally broken into the Billboard Top Ten with 'Use Somebody'.. what a superb song.

Ah chip shops ... our three favourites along with The Five Star Fish Bar we make a detour to Toff's in London's Muswell Hill and the Chinese chippy on Peniston Road near Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough Stadium ... lovely

Friday 24th July 2009 - They've been refurbed no doubt and just to clear up any confusion following another enquiry as to whether we'd be at The Barfly tonight? No is the answer. The source of the queries seems to be a listing at barflycub.com which has yet to be deleted from their website (well give them a chance - they're still showing SkinnyGene ten months after that ended). This listing is incorrect and in fact has been incorrect (in other ways) for two years. So Dear Reader, please note from us we are no longer at Cardiff Barfly. |
