Stone Sour -
3030 150
new single 13 July
Dave Grohl lives, The Foos will rock the UK and introduce Stone Sour. Corey Taylor and James Root from the original Slipknot return with an awesome track recorded in Grohl's home studio. '30/30 150' trails the new album 'Come What(ever) May' due on 31 July. Production is also due in part to Nick Raskulinecz of Velvet Revolver duty, 'evolution' and 'greater maturity' are the preferred buzzwords and this rocks. XXXXx

Cass Fox -
Army Of One
new single 12 June
Cass Fox has made one of the tastiest new tunes in ages, 'Army Of One' positively seduces you into a mellow thoughtful mode and we particularly like the Hardkandy Remix. Cass has a superb voice you will know from Rui De Silva's number one hit 'Touch Me', wanting to branch away from dance music she wankled from the De Silva camp, and this new release will hopefully pay dividends for her.

The Goo Goo Dolls -
Better Days
new single 5 June
Buffalo's fantastically named Goo Goo Dolls released their eighth album recently and this is a bright hopeful single aimed toward chart success. 'Let Love In' their third album for Warners was produced by Glen Ballard of Alanis and No Doubt production credit and for some reason reminds me greatly of Ozark Mountain Daredevils joyful abandon, indeed both bands have created 'Better Days' songs which sound great together.

Feeder -
The Singles
new album 29 May
Feeder arrived at xplosure dressed in white with Japanese styled head gear ... that was in 1996, a year before their first hit. The internet then in it's infancy, they were the most well organised of indie bands with a fan base of 10,000 they'd built themselves by word of mouth. 'High' was released just before the tragic death of Princess Diana and seemed to capture the sadness so meaningfully, it also revealed the softer side to Feeder's music as the curtain raised for their chart entry. A fine collection. XXXX
