Sandi Thom - Smile .. It Confuses People new album 5 June Great title and 24 year old South Londoner Sandi Thom, like Nizlopi and The Arctic Monkeys before her is another major word of mouth internet breakthrough. Sandi's basement concerts started with 10 internet viewers and climbed to 70,000 at the point when RCA decided to sign her. Nerina Pallot - Everybody's Gone To War new single 22 May Nerina Pallot (pronounced pal-o) has come up with a song in a million, a lyrical statement which neatly sums up recent military history and passes ironic comment "everybody's gone to war but we don't know what we're fighting for". Originally released a year ago, and I fondly remember Nerina's brilliant session for my Red Dragon FM show back in 2001. A wonderfully talented singer songwriter who has paid her dues, the whole of the reactivated 'Fires' album is worthy listening. So why the re-release?
