Snow Patrol new single 12 Feb
Open Your Eyes

'Eyes Open', the number one album of 2006 spawns another hit single for Snow Patrol. Having just come across an old flier for an appearance they made at Club Metros in Cardiff in 2000, it's great to acknowledge their commitment's been rewarded. Snow Patrol have attempted to create enduring melodies, quality songs. Against all the odds and knockers they've succeeded. XXXX

Cute Is What We Aim For new single 5 February
Newport Living

Home of the Chartists, maybe not that Newport but nevertheless another new strike for EMO. Cute & Paramore toured together, label FueledByRamen is spot on. Some don't like emo & it's a mystery, there are some fine 'emo' tunes. They're no more pretentious than any other genre & Cute have created a fine record here, it deserves success. XXXx

The Kaiser Chiefs first offering from their second album 'Ruby' is another almost love song "Due to lack of interest tomorrow is cancelled" hang on a mo', this is a love song ... heavily repeated choral to the lovely 'Ruby' ... the jury awaits the public's verdict. Jackson Analogue
Come On new single 12 March

'A dirty three minute Rock and Roll freak out with one of the catchiest opening guitar riffs you've heard in an age'. That's about right, Jackson Analogue have their own distinctive off-beat yet somehow mainstream style, 'Come On' should set them on the right direction to major success this year. XXXx

Trio Planetman have a surprisingly good demo here. Recorded at Crossbar Studios, Tonyrefail there's six excellent tracks, well written in a kind of Chilli Peppers style with a top notch production which brings out the power of this three piece, slap bass n' all. Having seen
Planetman and hearing the demo - they need to find a way of transferring this demo quality to their live shows, check out their myspace. XXXx planetman.org.uk (Posted 31 Jan 07)

Revelation Theory
Slowburn new single tbc

'Power with chords, Revelation Theory are masters of their medium. A potent blend of hard and heavy guitar rock, forceful and impassioned vocals, and a muscular and melodic rhythm section, this four-piece infuses enough energy and honesty in their music to power their home city of New York'. Rich, Julien and Dave met while experimenting with music during college days in Massachusetts. Matty, a bassist/vocalist, was a vocal major at NYU and fronting a Philadelphia rock band. 2005, the bands first headlining stint on the "Girls Gone Wild Rocks America" tour which hit over 30 cities in eight weeks, playing to more than 15,000 people. Idol Roc then teamed up with ON Entertainment and Century Media owner/founder Robert Kampf to sign the band to his new venture Element Records (distributed by EMI) and release Revelation Theory's debut album, TRUTH IS CURRENCY, produced by Grammy winner Paul Ebersold (Saliva, 3 Doors Down).

Soon, music fans and radio stations across the country tapped into the band's infectious energy by scheduling them on radio festivals for Fall 2005, alongside bands of such caliber as Audioslave, Seether, Fall Out Boy, Breaking Benjamin, and Saliva. Songs like the pounding "After the Rain", the tender ballad "Selfish and Cold", the helpless "Leaving It up to You", and the fierce and immediate first single and video "Slowburn", Truth is Currency is bursting at the seams with soulful, raw rock.  The single has built a great radio story on America's Active Rock charts and the video is getting great rotation on MTV's Headbanger's Ball. Top notch XXXX
