Playing at Cardiff Barfly on Tuesday 6 November, this rather unusual mixture of Japanese / American culture, a little akin to Yoko Ono is an aquired taste. The band are certainly winning new fans and Strawberries should win over more, especially with the chunky CSS remix included here

I really like this, Radio 2 should play it every show. There's a charming first mellow minute before the gentle urgency of this tune wafts over you and carries you along - it's rather brilliant!

David Ford's 'Decimate' is produced by Ben Allen of Gnarls Barkley fame and his second album is due on 15 Oct, this is another great new tune which deserves Top Twenty really, catchy, uptempo and somehow strangely uplifting

'Walking Disaster', aa apt title and tune for a life born of missing a parent, I can identify with that as my father departed when I was nine. This is surprisingly very thoughtful and ambitious pop from Sum 41, I'm not sure it's what their fans will expect, nevertheless it's good
