South Wales psychedelic legends Zabrinski put on a fine show on their homecoming to coincide with the release of new album Ill Gotten Game. By far the best thing they've committed to record so far - a multicoloured explosion of swirling rock and electronic experimentation that should finally propel them to success. Polysics, The Hot Puppies, My Little Murder
Polysics are the only Japanese import currently hotter than a PSP, having developed a following with wild costumes and a pulsing, energetic live show, they perform technicolor pogo punk in a variety of languages including Japanese, English and their very own ‘space language’. Formed in 1997 in Tokyo when Hayashi, inspired by Devo, began making music. Together with Kayo, Fumi and Yano creating an “inflectional electronic sound that sticks and repeats itself in one’s head”
After successful independent releases, Ki/oon Records / Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc came calling.

Since then, they've worked with Nick Beggs of Kajagoogoo, toured the United States three times and finally met their heroes Devo.

Support came from The Hot Puppies (picture right) - well worth checking out, you may have seen them here recently supporting Juliette Lewis & The Licks.
